Taupo-nui-a-Tia College has had a long association with the Great Lake Cycle Challenge. Students, staff and PTA are valued volunteers at the event involved with
registration, filling the event bags, marshalling and staffing the finish area. It is a great opportunity to serve the community and also to fundraise for the school. In 2010
fundraising was used to purchase netbook computers which will be complemented by the installation of high speed broadband and the computer network upgrade this
year. Taupo-nui-a-Tia College eagerly awaits the opening of the Design & Innovation Centre which will have the best technology and design facilities in the district.
