Facilities & Food
An ANZ ATM is located outside Equidays HQ on M Road.
Located on E Street, the Blacksmith Bar & Café is open
during Equidays. Check out the great themed bar with
the iconic Black Dog Furniture. The bar will be open
before the Equidays night shows to allow visitors a bite
to eat and refreshments in between the event and the
show. Please drink responsibly. Taxis and dial-a-driver
numbers are available for your safety. Note: You cannot
bring your own alcohol to Equidays.
For all vehicle problems (keys locked in vehicles, flat
batteries, etc), enquire at Equidays HQ. A breakdown
service will be available.
In case of an emergency dial 111 and provide your site
location and contact details. Contact Equidays office on
0800 004-444 to report the emergency/incident.
A first aid service is situated in the Services Building on
Food and Beverage
Food outlets are situated at sites throughout Equidays
(refer to the Equidays site map for locations).
Look for the Hygain Helpers to aid you with any
information you require with locating a particular site
or exhibitor. You can also head to Equidays HQ for more
information from Equidays staff.
Lost and Found
For items lost or found, please see the Police. They are
located in the Services Building, adjacent to Equidays
HQ on Bank Road. To report a missing person, go to
Equidays HQ and report the missing person to reception.
Parents rooms are located in the Services Building,
adjacent to Equidays HQ and inside the Mystery Creek
Convention Centre, next to the foyer.
The Equidays night shows will be held in Mystery Creek
Pavilion’s Cambridge Stud Equestrian Performance
Arena. Tickets are additional to your Equidays general
Visitors with general admission tickets and night show
tickets can stay onsite in the Blacksmith Bar & Cafe in
between the event closing and the show starting.
Visitors coming to Mystery Creek Events Centre for the
night shows must come via Gate 2.

Free parking is available at Mystery Creek Events Centre
via the Gate 2 entrance. Disabled parking is also
available; please talk to the parking wardens when
entering the site.

Public tickets are available to purchase online from
1-Day Passes: Adult $25, Child (5-14 years) $15
3-Day Passes: Adult $65, Child (5-14 years) $40
Children under 5 FREE
Night Show Passes: Adult $40, Child (5-14) $20.
Tickets can also be purchased at the gate.
• No dogs are allowed on site (except guide dogs). Do
not leave dogs unattended in vehicles.
• Use bins provided around the site for litter. Help us
take care of the environment by recycling plastic and
glass in the recycling bins provided, locations indicated
• Fundraising drives or raffles are not permitted on the
• Public are not permitted on the exhibition site outside
• The Equine Branch of the NZ Veterinary Association
will have a vet on call during Equidays. A farrier will
also be on call.

Food & Beverage Providers
The Blacksmith Bar & Café – E Street
Head on down to The Blacksmith Bar & Cafe to indulge
in a cold beverage. Sit back and relax on the iconic
Black Dog Furniture and grab a bite to eat from the
wide selection of food providers down E Street.
Danish Delight Ice Cream – E Street
Freshly baked (while you wait) waffle cone, filled with
two scoops of the finest ice cream, fresh whipped
cream and then a topping of your choice – fantastic!
Espresso Effect – E Street
The Espresso Effect is a privately-owned and operated
Waikato business. It specialises in servicing large
events, creating a cafe environment and is committed
to delivering high quality espresso-based beverages
with professionalism and efficiency.
Fritterman – E Street
Fritterman offers customers a comprehensive range
of “hot off the grill, good old Kiwi fritters”. Top sellers
range from mussel and locally sourced whitebait to a
new pork and watercress fritter. Other fritters include
sweetcorn and bacon, and pumpkin and feta, with
other options based on seasonal availability.
Hungri Hunter – E Street
Hungri Hunter is selling high-quality pork barbecue
sausages in homemade ciabatta buns. All sausages are
made from 100% NZ pork meat and are preservative
and gluten free. Available in mild, German hunter style
and spicy Hungarian style. Gluten-free ciabatta buns
are also available.
Pumice Café – The Blacksmith Bar & Café
– Indoor Arena
Enjoy fresh, healthy sandwiches, wraps, salads, sushi,
Ozone coffee, cold drinks and a selection of gourmet
savouries including the famous Pumice Pies. Evening
meals are available including Malaysian chicken
curry, nachos, Italian pasta and more. Vegetarian and
gluten-free options are available.
Mizzoni Woodfired Pizza – Pizza Pit &
Fresh woodfired pizza, made to order on handmade
dough. Mizzoni Pizzas are cooked at 500 degrees in
less than three minutes. The menu consists of the
traditional Margherita through to the popular
Hawaiian. Gluten-free bases and vegetarian options
Outside Cuisine – E Street
Outside Cuisine offers high-quality food made fresh
onsite daily. Try the famous venison burgers or other
treats from the barbecue. Outside Cuisine also offers
gourmet roast lamb, smoked chicken and salmon
sandwiches, paninis, a nutty brown rice salad, hot
chips and homemade carrot cake.
The Long Black – E Street
The Long Black specialises in producing quality
espresso products from the popular flat white
through to chai latte for the more indulgent
Tommo’s Bakery – Health Hall
Tommo’s Bakery offers a wide selection of
fresh food and cold beverages including
healthy sandwiches, wraps, salads, sushi,
pies, shepherd’s pie, Thai green curry and
macaroni cheese. Tommo’s Bakery can be
found at the Health Hall Kiosk and can cater
